Notes:

- The "Florida World Music Festival."
- From a local review: "An archeologist on a dig sifts through old bones and rubble in search of a new discovery. He may suffer in the hot sun and harsh conditions of a hostile environment, but when he finds something special, something unique, it all becomes worthwhile. The Florida World Music Festival was not unlike an archeologist's quest for treasures. Approximately 55,000 people jammed into the Orlando Tangerine bowl Saturday, despite the hot sun and hostile environment, to hear an all-star line-up of hard rock bands featuring Ted Nugent, Aerosmith and Cheap Trick. Stadium concerts are notorious for conditions that should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention. The sun took a heavy toll on the crowd and casualties lay strewn beneath the stands. It took hours to fight through the crowd for something to eat or drink and an overwhelming stench of vomit and sweating bodies permeated the lower regions of the stadium. And the crowd seemed to love it... Aerosmith delivered little more than it promised, a repeat of old Aerosmith shows. Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry are a foppish imitation of the Rolling Stones' Jagger-Richard combination, but without even the semblance of spontaneity. The other Aerosmith members saunter across the stage like models looking for predesignated spots to stand and pose..." (Tampa Tribune, 4/16/79).
