Notes:

- The night prior to the show members of the band were interviewed by Denny Sanders at WMMS' studio. During this hot and humid "World Series of Rock Game #1" festival show, 33 fans were injured and 31 arrested. There was also a post-show spat backstage between band member's wives, and as a result this would be Joe Perry's final show with the band. For a while...
- From a local review: "That was the score yesterday at the Fourth World Series of Rock concert at the Stadium. A total of 65,800 came to see six acts that started about 11 a.m... Aerosmith, led by skinny hyperactive singer Steve Tyler, scored with songs such as 'Bone to Bone,' but the audience was waiting for its 'Come Together,' the Beatles song they had sung in the movie, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band. The audience brought them back for an encore. Aerosmith put out as much energy as they did at their last Coliseum appearance, but their sound did not come through as clearly as it did then. This was a series with no base loaded, home-run players like Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones. Those bands are net touring now. But it was a hard-hitting, successful series anyway" (Plain Dealer, 7/29/79).
